Pilates Classes Southfields

We offer Pilates classes from our welcoming studio in Southfields. Whether you are a seasoned pro or a complete beginner, you will be sure to find the perfect class for you in our timetable. You will have the option of in-person Pilates classes in Southfields, or online classes if you prefer to practice in the comfort of your own home.

 

About Our Pilates Classes

 

Pilates was developed by German-born Joseph Pilates, who believed mental and physical health were closely connected. His method was influenced by Western forms of exercise such as boxing, gymnastics and wrestling. This influence led to him creating “Contrology, a form of exercise that later became known as Pilates when Joseph passed away. We offer a range of Pilates classes from our studio in Southfields, so you can reap the many benefits of this form of exercise. 


Our Pilates classes focus on physical movements to mobilise, stabilise and strengthen the whole body. We particularly focus on the stomach, back and shoulder muscles, targeting deep postural poses to correct muscle imbalances, making movement more efficient and strengthening and toning the body.
